In this role the candidate will possess the following duties and performance requirements:

You will be helping our patients live well by:

  • Preparing and rooming the patients and document pertinent information, to include brief
    patient history, medications, supplement use and reason for visit.
  • Obtain patient vital signs and other specific screenings as applicable such as InBody scan.
  • Phlebotomy : Performing laboratory and diagnostic testing per provider order.
  • Under the delegation and supervision of the physician, administer peripheral IV insertion and
    vitamin and mineral infusions.
  • Assist physician with office procedures ( including : aiding the physician with injections,
    pellet procedure, PRP treatment and Stem Cell therapy.)
  • Communicate with the provider regarding patient inquiries and questions.
  • Fax / Call in prescription refills as directed by the physician and clinic protocol.
  • Performing a variety of office responsibilities: answers phones and takes messages and
    performs triage within scope of licensed practical nursing practice in an accurate and timely
    manner.
  • Coordinate with specialty and other offices as directed by the provider.
  • Complete referral forms, and assist patients with the referral process.
  • Comfortable with use of electronic health record (EHR) to include: documentation, referrals,
    scheduling, order entry, prescription requests etc.)
  • Participating in the orientation and training of new personnel.

Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of licensed practical nursing with 3 – 5 years of experience.
  • Current Wisconsin LPN License.
