Job Summary

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner with experience or a vested interest in functional medicine. You’ll play a vital role in our patient care team, evaluating new and follow-up patients, prescribing medications, and developing individualized treatment plans.

Pay: $110,000 / Year
Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat new patients and follow-ups.

  • Thoroughly document medical history and symptoms; perform physical exams when necessary.

  • Prescribe medications and design and adjust treatment plans.

  • Address both acute and chronic illnesses, order and analyze diagnostic tests.

  • Communicate diagnostic test results to patients, detailing and implementing treatment plans

  • Develop preventive medicine strategies.

  • Assist nurses with challenging blood draws and IV starts when necessary.

  • Provide post-procedure care education to patients.

  • Independently manage large volumes of triage and perform alternative forms of care.

  • Commit to ongoing education in Functional Medicine

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Completion of an NP-focused graduate master's or doctoral nursing program is required.

  • Must have successfully passed a national NP board certification exam.

  • Functional medicine courses or certification a plus, but not required.
